Joe was born in Longview, grew up in Vancouver, WA, and graduated from high school in 1984. He earned his B.S. in Biblical Studies from Multnomah Bible College in 1990. He then served as Youth Pastor at Cornerstone Church in Kent, WA for almost 13 years before moving to Longview. Joe has been on staff with us at The Bridge since we started in 2004. Joe married his wonderful wife Amy April of 1992. They have five children - Brenna, Caleb, Madeline, Emily, and Sara.

Nick was born in Spokane, Washington and raised in Kelso. A 1997 Kelso High School grad, he went on to graduate from Northwest Christian University in 2001 with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Music Ministry. Nick spent two years as the Pastor of Worship and Youth at North Gate City Church before entering the mission field in 2005. This adventure took him to Singapore, Myanmar, Bulgaria, Romania, England, Brazil, and the Philippines, in addition to most corners of the domestic U.S. Nick has been leading worship in a full or part-time capacity since 1998 and has a passion for serving the church through music.
Nick is also a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones, and has been a part of the Kelso/Longview business community through the Chamber of Commerce, the Lower Columbia Professionals, the YMCA Board of Directors, and Community Home Health and Hospice’s Planned Giving Committee. Nick considers himself extremely fortunate to have married Tiffanie in 2007, and they spend their free time picking up after their kids, Levi, Lily, and Luke.
David was born in Portland, Oregon, and graduated from Mark Morris high school, in Longview in 1979. He spent 2 years at LCC studying Diesel Technology. He married his wonderful wife Dyanna, in February of 1989. David and Dyanna have two grown daughters, Ambrosia, and Krystal. David came to know the Lord, while attending Shekinah Christian Church, in 1998. David began attending The Bridge Church in 2010. David quickly became an avid student of God’s Word, and has had various teaching opportunities with The Bridge.

Josh was born in Astoria, Oregon and grew up in the Seattle area. He and his wife Anna met as seniors in high school and they were married in 1997. Josh earned a BA in Biblical Languages from Moody Bible Institute in 2003. Josh and Anna live in Longview with their 4 children; they have been attending and serving at the Bridge since 2012.
Milo was born in Vancouver, grew up in Longview, WA, and graduated high school in 2012. He is in the process of completing his B.A. in Youth and Educational Ministry at Multnomah University. He has served in the Bridge Youth Ministry as support staff for the past three years. Milo married his wife Brenna in May of 2020. He has a heart to serve youth in their walk with Christ by growing their love for Him and their knowledge of the word.
Melanie was born in Portland, OR and grew up in Cowlitz County. She graduated from Three Rivers Christian school in 2004 and went on to get her degree in Elementary Education from Washington State University. She spent many summers actively serving at Trout Creek Bible Camp, where she met her husband Chris. They were married in 2005. They spent several years serving with Tsunami Youth together. They now have two crazy, awesome kids: Nolan and Evelyn. Melanie spent 10 years teaching in Kelso schools, but is now excited to be a stay at home mom and use her education experience to serve in Children's Ministry!
Jodell is originally from Butte, MT but has called Longview/Kelso home for over 40 years. She and husband, Butch met at the University of Montana in Missoula and married in 1973. Jodell retired from 40+ years in education in 2018 and is enjoying every minute and blessing of retirement. Jodell and Butch have two grown daughters, Keely Lindquist, Las Vegas, NV, mother of three of their grandchildren; and Kaila Treto, Coeur d’ Alene, ID, mother of their other grandchildren. Her passions are reading, thinking, praying and studying, all areas that she is grateful to use in coordinating and supporting the prayer team at The Bridge.
