  • Joe Coy, lead pastor

    Joe was born in Longview, grew up in Vancouver, WA, and graduated from high school in 1984. He earned his B.S. in Biblical Studies from Multnomah Bible College in 1990. He then served as Youth Pastor at Cornerstone Church in Kent, WA for almost 13 years before moving to Longview. Joe has been on staff with us at The Bridge since we started in 2004. Joe married his wonderful wife Amy April of 1992. They have five children - Brenna, Caleb, Madeline, Emily, and Sara.

  • Dan Nordstrom, teaching pastor

    Dan was born and raised in the Longview-Kelso area, graduating from high school in 1971. He then attended the United States Naval Academy, graduating in 1975 with a B.S. in Mathematics. Following post graduate studies in Nuclear Engineering, he served as a Naval Officer in the U.S. Nuclear Submarine Force until 1980. After a career in the commercial power engineering industry, Dan enrolled at Multnomah Biblical Seminary in Portland, OR, completing his Master of Divinity degree in 2002. He then felt called into full-time ministry, planting The Bridge Church in early 2004. Dan has been married to Dace for 37 years. They have two grown children - Ben, a computer engineer with Microsoft who lives in Tokyo, Japan, and Maija, who teaches 5th grade here in the community.

  • josh knight, youth ministry pastor

    Josh was born in Missoula, MT but lived in Central California until his family moved to Kent, WA when he was eight years old; he has been in the Pacific Northwest ever since.  Josh attended Northwest University and received his B.A. in Pastoral Ministry with an emphasis in youth ministry in 2016.  Josh’s passion for young people and desire to see lives transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ form a natural combination in youth ministry.  Josh married his wife Alisa in August of 2014. Outside of serving in ministry along with their young son Eliam, they also enjoy getting outside and exploring God’s good creation.


    Nick was born in Spokane, Washington and raised in Kelso. A 1997 Kelso High School grad, he went on to graduate from Northwest Christian University in 2001 with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Music Ministry. Nick spent two years as the Pastor of Worship and Youth at North Gate City Church before entering the mission field in 2005. This adventure took him to Singapore, Myanmar, Bulgaria, Romania, England, Brazil, and the Philippines, in addition to most corners of the domestic U.S. Nick has been leading worship in a full or part-time capacity since 1998 and has a passion for serving the church through music.  

    Nick is also a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones, and has been a part of the Kelso/Longview business community through the Chamber of Commerce, the Lower Columbia Professionals, the YMCA Board of Directors, and Community Home Health and Hospice’s Planned Giving Committee. Nick considers himself extremely fortunate to have married Tiffanie in 2007, and they spend their free time picking up after their kids, Levi, Lily, and Luke.  

  • art aldridge, prayer ministry pastor

    Art was born and raised in Concord, N.C. and graduated high school in 1980. He is a 1989 graduate of Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas, TX. Art helped pioneer a singles ministry in his home church in North Carolina and served as the Singles Pastor there for three years. Art moved to Washington in 1992. He served as the Senior Pastor at the Castle Rock Full Gospel Church from 1999 until 2008. Art has been married to his wife Becki for 26 years. They have two daughters - Delaine and Mollie.

  • Dennis Gwin, Elder

    Dennis was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. Dennis graduated from the University of Idaho in 1984 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He is currently employed by Georgia Pacific at the Wauna Mill in Clatskanie, OR. He has been married to his wife, Marti since 1986. They have two sons - Seth, a recent graduate of Oregon State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and Jacob, a graduate of Eastern Washington University, with a B.S. in Computer Science.

  • Joe Rieger, Elder

    Joe was born and raised in Tillamook, OR. He graduated from Tillamook High School in 1986 and it was in Tillamook that he met his wife Susie whom he married in 1989. Together they have seven children. Joe has served in local churches as a lay person since his conversion in 1992. Joe and his family served as missionaries sent out by the Bridge Church of Longview in Uganda, Africa from 2012 to 2014 and now resides in Castle Rock, WA.
